Dua Lipa fans were swooning after celebrating her 31st birthday with husband Callum Turner, marking her first birthday as a newlywed with a romantic getaway and heartfelt moments shared online.
The pop star gave fans a glimpse into her special weekend by posting photos that captured the couple enjoying their time together.
Lipa shared the birthday snaps on Instagram, showing sweet moments with Turner during their private escape. Although she did not reveal the exact location, the singer was spotted in New York around the same period, adding another layer of mystery to the celebration.
“Birthday weekend,” Lipa wrote in her caption. “Thank you for all the love and the wishes! Ready for my next lap around the sun…it just keeps getting better,” Lipa said.

The birthday celebration comes just months after Lipa and Turner began their new chapter as husband and wife. The couple quietly married in a civil ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London on May 31. They later celebrated with a larger, three-day wedding event in Palermo, Sicily, in June.
Lipa recently opened up about the emotional wedding day during an interview with Vogue Italia. She said the day felt “magical” and revealed that the couple followed two important pieces of advice, as they tried to experience the celebration like guests and made a point of finding each other throughout the crowd.
“Our wedding day was magical,” she said. “We received so much advice, but we decided to follow just two suggestions, to experience the day as though we were guests ourselves, and to keep finding each other throughout the crowd, never losing sight of one another.”
The newlywed also revealed that her relationship with Turner is changing the way she approaches songwriting. Instead of focusing mainly on heartbreak, Lipa said she is now interested in exploring the quieter and more complicated sides of love.
“But now I want to discover what happens when you truly find love. I’m interested in the complexities of a relationship, its quieter moments, the little things,” she added.
