On Thursday, British Pakistani boxer Amir Khan declined the offer to join Pakistan Politics.
The former unified light-welterweight world champion tweeted that he had talked to his advisory team and decided to continue his charity work for Pakistan.
“Talked to my advisory team, I will decline the offer to join Pakistan politics. The country is run by an amazing PM @ImranKhanPTI and we all have trust in him. I prefer continuing my charity work @AKFoundation in UK, Pakistan, and the rest of the world to make areas better and safer,” tweeted Amir.

Earlier on October 20th, Amir had aid that he may enter Pakistani politics and asked his fans for advice.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, Boxer Amir Khan spoke of his mind and opened up about joining Pakistani politics.
He wrote:
“I have been asked numerous times if I would join politics in Pakistan. Being a sportsman and being an ambassador for the country, I’m honoured to ask if I would take part in politics, in fact, I would love to help the country.”
