On Thursday, US President-elect Joe Biden tested negative for coronavirus after Cedric Richmond, an incoming White House Adviser, was tested positive for the novel deadly virus. Biden’s spokeswoman said in a statement.

As defined by the Centers for Disease Control, the spokeswoman Kate Bedingfield said that Biden and Richmond were not in close contact.

On the other hand, the French presidency has said that France President Emmanuel Macron has tested positive for COVID-19 on December 17.

According to the details, after the symptoms appeared, the 42-year-old took a test and will now be isolated for seven days, says the palace of Elysée.

Mr. Macron “is still in charge” of leading the country, said an official, and will operate remotely.
