ICC announces one-day team of the decade, no Pakistani included
International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a one-day team of the decade....
Indian Skipper Virat Kholi and Australian all-rounder Elliyse Perry have been named for the players of the Decade by International Cricket Council (ICC).
Virat has scored 20,396 runs in all international cricket formats in the 10 years covered by the awards.
Perry made 4,349 runs across all formats and took 213 wickets – the most of any player in Women’s cricket.
Perry said in a statement that,
“I am incredibly honoured to be voted this especially given just how many incredible players are in our game. Thinking back to when I started it has been an amazing experience and privilege to fight for my country.”

On the other hand, Kohli conquered the men’s game bagging top two awards as the batsman was declared the Best Male Player of the Decade, as well as the top ODI player.
Kholi said in a statement that,
“It’s just been an honour for me to be able to go out there and perform for my team, and it’s a great honour for me to win this award.”
