Earlier, the Prime Minister has directed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan to immediately remove provincial law minister Sultan Mohammad Khan from the post.
The video that surfaced on media today exposed the horse-trading during Senate elections in 2018 by PTI party lawmakers who could be seen as counting bundles of currencies and hiding it inside the bag.
On the other hand, Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM), Dr Shahbaz Gill in his tweet informed that a report will be presented to the prime minister after carrying out a thorough investigation into the matter.
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday reacted to a leaked video showing PTI lawmakers allegedly selling their votes in exchange for money handed out by a former MPA of the PPP, saying that his government was determined to “stop the cycle of money laundering and corruption”.
