Lahore’s accountability court on Thursday extended judicial remand of Khawaja brothers for eight days in the Paragon Housing scam.
As per details, Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique were presented by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) before an accountability court of Judge Jawadul Hassan, under tight security.
In today’s hearing, the statements of the witnesses were recorded by the court. Later the court adjourned the hearing of the case by extending the judicial remand of Khawaja brothers for eight days.
On October 16, accountability court rejected acquittal pleas of former railways minister Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique in the Paragon Housing Society case.
Khawaja brothers had filed petitions for their acquittal and also challenged the jurisdiction of the court in the case.
