An extremely poisonous snake slipped away in a shipping container from India, and staff from a British veterinary hospital were dispatched to a local company to capture it.
A report came in from a local company regarding a snake found in a shipping container that arrived from India, according to the South Essex Wildlife Hospital in Orsett, England, in a Facebook post.
The snake was characterized as a saw-scaled viper, which is “way up there in the top few most deadly snakes.”
To catch the deadly reptile, a veterinarian and a reptile expert from the hospital were rushed to the company.
The snake was placed in a cage and secured for delivery to “an appropriate facility,” according to the hospital.
