We are so proud! The youngest Nobel Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai has now officially become an Oxford University graduate as the girls’ education activist shared her big achievement with family, friends and fans on social media.

Yousafzai is celebrating her college graduation. Clad in a black gown, wearing a cap and beaming with happiness, the activist uploaded her graduation pictures with proud parents, and husband Asser Malik.

“Some Latin was said and apparently I have a degree”, she wrote on Instagram along with more images from the big day.

The journey to his day was not easy for Yousafzai and her family, especially her father. Her graduation day was certainly a proud moment for them.

Her father, Ziauddin Yousafzai, also took to Twitter and shared a few glimpses of the event.

In one of the graduation pictures, Yousafzai is seen with her husband Malik, who also celebrated his wife’s accomplishment with a post of his own on social media.

Yousafzai survived being shot in the head by a Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) gunman in 2012 after she was targeted for her campaign against its efforts to deny girls education.

She moved to England after she was shot, where she received medical treatment and last year graduated from Oxford University with a Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree. In June, last year, Yousafzai attended a virtual graduation ceremony of the class 2020 and shared it with her fans on social media.
