Actress Sana Javed, who landed into hot waters after multiple allegations levelled against her for being rude to co-workers on sets, has been disassociated by a clothing brand for their Eid campaign.

The public statement by the brand on its official Instagram read: “In light of the recent allegations brought forth against Sana Javed, we at Rang Rasiya decided to disassociate ourselves from the concerned person who was before the main face of our Eid campaign. The recent incident involving Manal Saleem and Sana Javed had occurred on our shoot for which we as a brand are deeply disturbed too. We did a reshoot with another celebrity as we respect public sentiment, despite the cost that we have borne. It is a request to the fashion fraternity to please be considerate towards the brands too who spend millions on such shoots apart from their time and effort.”

The famed clothing line officials further added that they have to do a reshoot dropping the Khaani star to respect the public sentiments despite of the cost they had to bear.

Since claims of misbehaviour and unprofessionalism surfaced against Javed, many have spoken up against the actress, on their respective social media handles while others also lent their support for her.

However, in order to justify her side, Sana took legal action against a group of individuals who named and shamed her over her awful behaviour on sets.

Taking the entire matter to the cyber crime wing, she filed a legal complaint against model Manal Saleem and others who tried to defame her.

By attaching photos of the legal notice on Instagram, Sana penned a lengthy note and said she has been subjected to ‘fabricated stories, bullying, hate speech and threats’.
