THIS is the dramatic moment when courageous Ukrainians used laser-guided missiles and Javelins to blow apart Russian tanks.
A tremendous explosion is shown in incredible footage as a soldier narrowly avoids being blown apart.
In the background, a group of Ukrainian operators can be heard cheering.
The video was obtained from Ukraine’s General Staff, along with a statement stating that the weapon systems utilised were PTRK “Stugna-P” anti-tank missile systems.
The Luch design studio in Kyiv created the Stugna-P, a second-generation Ukrainian laser-guided anti-tank missile system.
They normally fire 130-millimeter calibre missiles and may be controlled remotely from up to 50 metres away.
The video shows the operators’ screens as they fire missiles that are slightly off-target at first, but eventually hit their intended target.
“The Russian occupiers will not hide anywhere,” the Ukrainian General Staff declared, adding that “masters of their profession ‘work’ with enormous distances.”
They signed off with the now-famous slogan “Slava Ukraini!” (roughly translated as “Glory to Ukraine!” in English).
Another clip shows the operator carefully pointing at the target, which is followed by an explosion.
A large fire paints the sky orange, causing a massive black cloud to rise into the sky.
Since the assault began, Putin’s army has sustained significant losses, with the US estimating that 30,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or detained.
Ukrainian forces have been able to repel Russian soldiers by employing a lethal combination of drones and well-planned ambushes, which have resulted in tank columns being obliterated and invading troops fleeing.
Last week, images from the besieged city of Mariupol showed a Russian ‘Z’ tank being blown to bits.
Hundreds of tanks and armoured cars are shown in a video that Ukraine claims it destroyed during Putin’s delayed invasion.
A well-armed Russian column is ambushed and blown to bits by devastating anti-tank missiles in another attack.
In the meantime, experts report that Russian servicemen were massacred on the battlefield by Ukrainian resistance.
While Putin predicted that Kyiv would be seized in 48 hours, Ukrainians have battled valiantly to defend their homeland.
Hundreds of Russian paratroopers were killed in the unsuccessful attempt to take Hostomel airport, according to Taras Kuzio, an Associate Research Fellow at the Henry Jackson Society.
He told The Sun Online that the paratroopers are dispatched ahead of the main soldiers to secure a place so that the main forces can be brought up.
“In this war, they were flown into Hostomel airport near Kyiv to do this but were all killed.
“Two transport aircraft of paratroopers flying from Belarus to do the same tactic at another airport near Kyiv were shot out of the sky. 300 paratroopers were killed in the 2-transport aircraft.”
