The  appeal for performers to play Prince William and Prince Harry in their late teens was previously issued by Netflix’s royal drama.

The Crown is said to be on the lookout for Kate Middleton.

Season 6 of Netflix’s royal drama, which will purportedly cover the late 1990s and early 2000s, is looking for an actress to play Prince William’s future wife. The show is expected to feature Kate in a modest role, showing the start of her romance with William while they were both studying at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.

Netflix posted a casting call ad last month asking for young actors between the ages of 16 and 21 to represent Prince William and Prince Harry. No prior professional acting experience was required, according to the notice, and filming for the roles will begin soon.

The Crown’s fifth season will reportedly focus on the years 1990 to 1997 and will star Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth, Dominic West as Prince Charles, and Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, with a new cast including Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth, Dominic West as Prince Charles, and Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana.

The plot could revolve around the year 1992, which the Queen decreed to be a “annus horribilis” (Latin for “horrible year”). It was the year that three of her four children were divorced from their spouses and Windsor Castle was destroyed by fire.

Though season 5 was supposed to be the series’ final season, the creators changed their minds and announced that the historical drama will return for a sixth and final season.
