Amid Coronavirus outbreak, Pakistani doctors Abdul Zahir Hamad and his wife Mauritian Hosany Sumayyah are serving as volunteers at highway exit checkpoint in Wenzhou, east China’s Zhejiang Province.

According to local media, Abdul Zahir Hamad and Mauritian Hosany Sumayyah, a married couple, both work as doctors at Panhealth Medical Center in Wenzhou.

Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, they both have been serving as volunteers at a highway exit checkpoint in Wenzhou, checking identity information and measuring body temperature for drivers and passengers.

While talking to Chinese media the couple said “we must do something.”

“China is our second hometown. We hope the epidemic ends soon and people can get back to their normal life,” they said.

The couple received higher education together and fell in love with each other in China.

Earlier, Pakistani Doctor Usman Janjua won both Chinese and Pakistani hearts after he decided to offer his services to help the country fight against the deadly coronavirus that has killed over 300 people and infected more than 14,000.

Chinese Embassy in Pakistan tweeted: “We appreciate Dr Muhammad Usman Janjua, a foreign doctor to join the fight against coronavirus in China as a volunteer.”

Moreover The Chinese mission shared that Pakistani doctor Dr Janjua hails from the Deena area of Jhelum in Pakistan and teaches at the Changsha Medical University in the Chinese province of Hunan.

Dr Janjua, in an interview with Chinese media, said that China like a second home for him as he had completed his education for there.

However “My heart beats with my Chinese brothers. If I can offer my services in Wuhan in this difficult hour, it would be a moment of pride for me and my country – Pakistan,” said Janjua.

On the hand Death toll has risen to 304 in China’s coronavirus outbreak.

China’s National Health Commission reports more than 14,000 cases of pneumonia caused by 2019-nCoV in China.

It reported that 45 people died in the last 24 hours and 19,544 were suspected of being infected.

Around 137,600 people are under medical observation, while the number of people discharged reached 328.

The NHC  announced the corpses of those who died due to the outbreak will be burned in crematorium areas near the hospital.

The number of people with the virus detected outside of China’s mainland rose to 14 in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and reached seven in Macau Special Administrative Region.

The NHC reported the number of new cases of virus detection within last 24 hours increased to 2,590.

The cases reported also in Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, the U.S., France, Germany, North Korea, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, Vietnam, Italy, Spain, Sweden, the U.K., Russia, Nepal, Cambodia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Finland and India.

The virus, which originated in Wuhan, is said to have been transmitted to humans from animals, particularly bats.

It raised alarm globally with cases reported across Asia, Europe, the U.S. and Canada.

Spain confirmed Saturday its first case in one of five suspected German tourists in La Gomera, one of the islands in Spain’s Canary Island chain.

The U.S. declared a public health emergency due to the new type of coronavirus epidemic.

Russia on Saturday stopped the visa-free travel application for tourism purposes with China.

Travelers from China screened for the virus at airports worldwide and several airlines suspended flights to Wuhan.

The World Health Organization declared the outbreak an international emergency.
