County Championship: Hasan Ali’s 9 wickets helps Lancashire win

Pakistani players continue to impress with some brilliant performances in the County Championship 2022.

Hasan Ali finished with brilliant figures of 9-96 to help Lancashire outclass Gloucestershire by an innings and 57 runs in the County Championship 2022.

He got the last wicket, Jared Warner (10) who put up an incredible fight against a threatening Lancashire attack, bowling 119 balls and giving his all to help Gloucestershire salvage a draw.

As Gloucestershire batted out 124.1 overs on the last day, Hasan claimed his final wicket to assist his team win the match late in the day.

Hasan claimed six wickets in the first innings and three in the second, including that sensational and ripping yorker to James Brassey, which uprooted the middle stump and even broke the wicket.

Hasan had a fantastic County debut before this match, returning with match stats of 5-94 in 43 overs, including 11 maidens.
