Prince Charles is said to have put a stop to any speculation about Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie’s royal destiny.
Jo Elvin, the host of MailPlus’ Palace Confidential, discussed the possibilities with Richard Kay.
He began by mentioning the unexpected surge in PR for the princesses, but confessed, “I don’t think they will have a formal royal function at all.”
“The Prince of Wales has made it plain that he wants a smaller royal family in the future.” It is doubtful that it would be expanded to include the York girls to aid the royal cause.”
“They will appear on occasion.” They appear to seek a royal position, but they also have full-time lives outside of royal responsibilities.”
