Footballer Marcus Rashford announces his engagement to Lucia Loi

Marcus Rashford MBE is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

Recently, the player announced his engagement to the love of his life on Instagram. He revealed how he planned the proposal in Los Angeles.

The couple can be seen kissing in front of a massive heart-shaped arch and a floral bed of hundreds of white roses, which is surrounded by fairy lights and countless column candles.

Rashford, 24, posted the sweet photo with the date they were engaged, which was Tuesday, May 24. He also added a white heart emoji and tagged Loi.

The couple started dating while they were still in high school, but they reportedly parted up in February of last year. Rashford tweeted a series of images of the couple together with the phrase “Through thick and thin” in January 2022, indicating that they were back together.
