Man dies on M4 motorway leaving a seven mile tailbacks wreaking havoc
A man was killed in an accident on Wales’ M4 highway. At 4.22 am today, police were called to Junction 30, Cardiff, on the motorway going east (July 3).
The road was closed for around nine hours as emergency personnel responded to the incident and an investigation could be conducted.
In a statement, South Wales Police acknowledged the fatality and stated: “The road has since been reopened. We appreciate the public’s understanding and patience.
“Next of kin has been updated and inquiries are ongoing,” the statement reads.
Several personnel were dispatched to the location after we received a call of an incident earlier today near Junction 30 of the M4.
According to reports, traffic is already back to normal.
Long delays have also been experienced due to an incident on the M4 near Newport between J24 and J25.
At around 8 this morning, the emergency services were informed of the collision.
