Andrew Morton, a royal scholar, predicts that rather than settling their family dispute, the royal brothers will part ways.
Regarding William and Harry’s reconciliation, he said to The Daily Beast, “I very much doubt they will be reunited. Wishful thinking abounds in this situation.”
He compared Prince William and Harry to George VI, the father of Queen Elizabeth, and Edward III, his older brother.

“George VI admired his brother, much as Harry adored William, and the two were inseparable, but after he abdicated and moved overseas, the bond between them was never the same. Harry and William are in an equivalent predicament.”
