The most popular messaging app in the world, WhatsApp, has added a lot of new features in recent months to make it even better. But the “This messages was deleted” message that shows up when someone deletes a message they sent is something that most people don’t like.

This text only makes the person more interested in what was sent.

But you can get around this. With this little trick, you can read the message that you just erased.

You’ll just need to download a third-party app that will show you any messages you’ve deleted.

Step 1: Get the “Get Deleted Messages” app from the Google Play Store and install it.

Step 2: Give the app access to your notifications by giving it permission to do so.
Once done, you are all set.

Step 3: When someone deletes a message, all you have to do is open this app to see what it was.

You’ll have to tell it that it can work in the background. You can change that at any time by going to Settings > Apps & Notifications on your phone. The app will also ask for permission to send notifications and store data.

There is a catch, though.

This third-party app reads your phone’s notifications panel to find WhatsApp messages, which it then shows you.

This means that if the other person deletes a message while you have the chatbox open, you won’t be able to see it in the app.

You can’t see deleted messages on WhatsApp anymore, but you can on the “Get Deleted Messages” app.
