
The Sindh government has immediately given permission for a clinical trial for treatment of coronavirus patients with plasma.
Sindh government allows plasma injection to corona patients in three hospitals on the basis of clinical trials.
Plasma was allowed to used in two hospitals in Karachi and one in Hyderabad. Civil Hospital Karachi, National Institute of Blood Diseases in Karachi and Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad included in the selected hospitals. Clinical trials of plasma use in Corona patients will conducted under the supervision of specialists.
The specialists team will comprised of physician, ICU specialist, Consultant hematologist and representative of Sindh Blood Transfusion Authority. Pakistan’s death toll from the novel coronavirus jumped to 358 after Sindh reported 12 new deaths on Thursday.
The death toll from the virus in Sindh stands at 112. According to the Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, 358 new cases reported in the province, taking the tally to 6,053. Furthermore Murad Ali Shah said “Of the 358 new cases, 284 reported in Karachi,”
Moreover he added in the last 24 hours 53 people have recovered from the virus. “There are 4,721 patients under treatment for the virus at the moment. 30 of these in critical condition while 17 of these on a ventilator,” he added.

The emergency ward of Sindh Government Children Hospital sealed after the brother of an emergency ward worker tested positive for the virus. The staff member had not informed us that his brother had tested positive,” the hospital CEO said. Furthermore CEO he added We will open the emergency ward after spraying the area with disinfectant.
