The Punjab government has made an important announcement to stop the spread of Coronavirus.

According to details, Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan has said that wearing face mask has been made mandatory in government offices.

Provincial Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chauhan further said that it was mandatory to wear face masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19. All government employees and officers of Punjab would wear face masks.

A letter has been issued by the Services and General Administration Department to all the officers of the province regarding wearing face masks in government offices.

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country has reached 78 thousand 249 while the death toll has reached 1652.
