Adam Driver-starrer, the sci-fi movie 65 from Columbia Pictures has a new release date. A new release date of March 17, 2023 has been established for the movie just released a trailer.

This information follows a number of additional alterations and postponements to the movie’s release. More than two years after the movie’s first announcement and Driver’s casting as its leading man, 65 was once scheduled to hit theatres on March 10, 2023.

The movie’s initial release date was set for May 13, 2022, when it was first announced in 2020, despite other rumours suggesting an April release.

Since it was first announced, the majority of the movie’s specifics have remained a mystery, and fans had to wait until last week for the debut of the official trailer.

The trailer’s opening line, “There’s something strange out there,” teases viewers with an action-packed idea right away. It takes up slightly over two and a half minutes to see the primary trailer.

It depicts Driver (House of Gucci) losing control of his spaceship when it is struck by an asteroid while hauling 35 additional passengers. Pilot Mills (Driver) begs for aid before explaining that he is on an unexplored planet with just one survivor: a small girl named Koa (Ariana Greenblatt).

Scenes of Driver and Greenblatt scavenging for food and water and slaying vicious dinosaurs are shown as they struggle to survive on the uncharted globe (Earth, 65 million years ago).

There have been few announcements regarding the other cast members that will be joining Driver and Greenblatt, and only one has been made thus far. Chloe Coleman will appear in the movie in an unspecified capacity. Chloe Coleman is best known for playing Fifi in Kinderwood and, more recently, for playing a young Lo’ak in Avatar: The Way of Water (2022).

There is more information available on the production team, which includes Columbia Pictures, Beck Woods, Bron Creative, Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE), and Raimi Productions.

The film will be directed and written by A Quiet Place (2018) authors Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, with Spider-Man filmmaker Sam Raimi serving as producer.

Producing will also be done by Zainab Azizi, Jason Cloth, Aaron L. Gilbert, Deborah Liebling, Suraj Maraboyina, and Douglas C. Merrifield. The composers will be Danny Elfman and Chris Bacon, who is well-known for his work on Men in Black: International.

The cinema version of 65 will debut on March 17, 2023.
