According to the Israeli military, a grenade accidentally exploded at a military base in the Jordan Valley of the occupied West Bank, killing 1 Israeli soldier.
In the event on Saturday night, three additional people were hurt; one of them is reportedly in a critical condition.
The explosion happened at the Kfir Brigade training facility, which is close to the illegal Israeli settlement of Ro’i.
The military declared that after looking into “the circumstances of the occurrence,” the military police would report its findings to the military prosecutor.
