Former India captain Virat Kohli and fast bowler Mohammad Siraj have risen in the ICC Men’s ODI Player Rankings, which were revealed on Wednesday, as a result of their recent success.

According to the most recent ODI rankings, Siraj moved up 15 spots to sit third on the list of bowlers, while Kohli jumped two spaces to sit fourth overall on the list for ODI batters.

Kohli scored two hundred and a staggering 283 runs in three innings during India’s recent ODI series sweep. The right-handed player increased to a total of 750 points and is closing in on Pakistan captain Babar Azam, who is still in first place with 887 rating points.

Rassie van der Dussen (766) and Quinton de Kock (759) are South Africans who are ranked second and third, respectively, on the batters list.

Siraj increased to a career-best rating of 685 points to draw in on pacesetters Trent Boult (730) of New Zealand and Josh Hazlewood of Australia on the ODI bowling list following his nine wickets for the series (727).

Teammates Shubman Gill and Kuldeep Yadav were also fairly awarded for their performances against Sri Lanka in addition to Kohli and Siraj.

Kuldeep was promoted seven spots to 21st on the most recent bowling rankings in recognition of his five wickets in just two matches against Sri Lanka.

Kane Williamson, the captain of New Zealand, scored 164 runs during the series and rose three spots to the eighth spot overall in the batter rankings. Teammate Devon Conway, who hit a century and fifty runs during the three games, moved up from outside the top 100 to the fifty-first spot.
