The MCU as we know it will change thanks to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Phase 5 will begin with threats on the level of the Avengers, and to be honest, based on the looks of the feature, even the Avengers could use all the help they can muster and then some more in order to defeat Kang, the Conqueror. Phase 4 was about coping with grief, a celebration of cultures, and character introduction. Kang, he continued, was particularly interesting because “his agony and suffering and discomfort and disgust with society and the world is so profound in him that [those attributes] have allowed him to make himself into the supervillain that you see.” Adding to it,

“It is that internal friction that gives him that power. Now, how it manifests? Stay tuned! Yeah, his heartache is great and so massive that he does live up to that title of being the biggest, baddest MCU villain that we’ve had.”

It will be intriguing to discover the true cause of Kang’s sadness in light of the Majors’ remarks. Since the two characters have a romantic relationship in the comic book, Ravonna Renslayer, played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw in the Loki series, is expected to play a role at some point. When things started to go wrong, she was the one who maintained the TVA facade in the main timeline and was last seen just vanishing into another one. However, Kang’s fate won’t be revealed until Quantumania is released on movie screens.
