Valerie Bertinelli Openly Discusses Relationship “Emotional Abuse”

Valerie Bertinelli is honest about lovers who wounded them emotionally.

The 62-year-old Food Network celebrity reposted a woman discussing why men and women quit relationships on Friday on Instagram. She commented after the short clip.

“People don’t discuss emotional and mental abuse because they assume, ‘I’m not being wounded physically, so it’s not abuse.’ Bertinelli.

“Some women get so caught up in trying to make their lover feel so loved and respected that they lose all love and respect for themselves,” the actress remarked. “They’ll leave to just discover themselves again, to just love themselves again, because they don’t even know who they are,” she said.

After divorcing Tom Vitale last year, Bertinelli received the job. She was married to Eddie Van Halen 1981–2007.

In November 2021, the actress and Vitale separated legally. She divorced six months later in May 2022. “Second best day of my life,” she tweeted after her divorce from Vitale in November 2022.

Since then, Bertinelli has been open about her struggles since her divorce.

The actress wrote on social media earlier this month that she was excited about 2023 but sad to say goodbye to 2022.

“This New Year’s Day is so more happier than last year’s,” the mother of one wrote on Instagram. Her smiling and spinning to Taylor Swift’s “Clean” was posted.

“I’ve loved New Year’s Day since childhood. It has been one of the saddest for the past five or six years. Finished “continued. “Before, everything felt sad, terrifying, lonely, and stressful. There’s lots to look forward to. I’m not worried. Free. My life begins on New Year’s Day 2023!”

Bertinelli then wrote a special message to her fans and followers at the end of the post: “I hope you all have as much joy, happiness, and kindness as you say you want. All of it is yours. Grab it! “Happy New Year” and “I love you.”
