NCT 127 achieves the second-highest repackaged album sales on Hanteo Chart with recent release Ay-Yo
On February 6, Hanteo Chart announced that NCT 127’s Ay-Yo had sold a total of 955,632 copies in its first week of its release, which just falls behind SEVENTEEN’s repackaged album Sector 17, which had sales of 1,126,104 copies. The record quickly rose to the top of the domestic album and music charts, the Line Music Album Top 100 chart in Japan, the Japanese local platform AWA real-time rising chart, and China QQ Music’s “Platinum Album” certification and digital sales, according to SM Entertainment. Music lovers are very interested in it, as evidenced by the fact that it is at the top of both the worldwide and Korean music video charts for record sales.
The “world chart” refers to a chart that is announced based on data about K-pop artists that is available globally, including information from albums, music sources, certifications, SNS, and media. NCT 127 was ranked first on the Weekly World Chart for the first week of February with a World Index of 22,805.87 points. Then TOMORROW X TOGETHER ranked second and BTS came in third on the weekly international chart.
The top spot on the physical album chart for the previous week belonged to NCT 127’s “Ay-Yo” album, which scored 1,046,498.25 points (weekly album sales: 955,632 copies). This chart was chosen as the “Album Index,” the benchmark of Hanteo Chart. The fourth regular album by NCT 127 was repackaged and it reached number one on both the world and music charts.
Mark will appear on JTBC’s “News Room,” which airs on February 6 at 7:50 PM KST, according to his agency, SM Entertainment, confirmed this morning. Regarding NCT 127, during his second global tour, which began in Seoul in December 2021 and ended in South America in January of this year, he performed for 700,000 spectators in 28 concerts across 17 cities.
