Narendra Modi lauds Pathaan’s housefull performance in Srinagar

Shah Rukh Khan plays the title character in the spy thriller Pathaan, which has since become one of Bollywood’s biggest box office hits in recent memory. Siddharth Anand’s film, which Aditya Chopra is funding for Yash Raj Films, is SRK’s return to the big screen after a hiatus of more than 4 years. Pathaan has been adored by viewers and is currently en route to becoming one of Indian cinema’s all-time highest-grossing films.

In his most recent speech to the parliament, the honourable Prime Minister of India lavished accolades on Shah Rukh Khan’s box office hit. Intriguingly, when discussing Pathaan’s impact on general audiences, Narendra Modi said, “Theatres in #Srinagar are running housefull after decades.”  The Prime Minister highlighted spy thriller in his speech to Parliament, and the video of Modi’s speech is now going viral on social media, so Shah Rukh Khan fans and moviegoers are now on cloud nine.

Pathaan, produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, stars Shah Rukh Khan as the film’s title character. Dr. Rubina Mohsin, played by Deepika Padukone, was the movie’s female protagonist. Jim, the main antagonist, played by John Abraham, is a former RAW field offer who turns against the nation after losing his family. Salman Khan appeared in the movie as Tiger from the acclaimed series of the same name in a cameo appearance. In the auxiliary roles, Dimple Kapadia, Ashutosh Rana, Prakash Belawadi, Ekta Kaul, Nikhat Khan, and others were seen.

As was previously reported, Pathaan will soon have a sequel, according to director Siddarth Anand and star Shah Rukh Khan. King Khan said he would be ready for a sequel whenever the filmmaker Siddharth and producer Aditya Chopra decide to do one. King Khan credited them for the huge success of the movie. Pathaan 2 will be bigger and better in every way, he continued.
