Central organization for different trade bodies has withdrawn the four-day strike call in Pakistan.

According to the details, the President for central organization, Kashif Chaudhry gave a media briefing here on Thursday.

He said that on the condition of NIC card there will be no investigation against traders till Sep 30.

Kashif Chaudhry further said that we are withdrawing from the strike call on the basis of non-investigation against traders.

We will impose tax on whole sellers and retailers over the profit and not on turn over.

Earlier, Different trade bodies had announced to hold four-day countrywide strike against imposing new tax system.

In the first phase, a complete shutter down strike was announced to be observed on August 15 and August 16 while in second phase, the traders would close the markets on August 26 and August 27.

The traders bashed the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and said that the steps to improve country’s economy are actually creating difficulties for survival of the masses.

The country is moving towards destruction with the new policies, they stated.
