Experience & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance, preferably a Commerce or Accounting Graduate with robust accounting knowledge.

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role in the UAE.
• Proficient in Quickbooks or other online ERP systems.
• Familiarity with MS Office software.
• Thorough understanding of UAE VAT regulations.
• Fluent in English (written & oral).

Job Description

Position: Accounts Assistant

Location: Jebel Ali Downtown Dubai

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable sub-ledgers and conduct monthly account reconciliations using specialized software.
• Prepare financial documents (invoices, bills, etc.) for data entry.
• Handle VAT returns and refunds.

• Track and renew office licenses, leases, and insurances promptly.
• Manage petty cash funds and provide regular reporting.
• Perform general HR & P.R.O. duties.
• Create daily reports for management and team members.
• Collaborate with Logistics for efficient inbound and outbound logistics activities.
• Assist Logistics manager in organizing cost-effective and timely transportation services.
