Election Commission members back CEC with confidence

Islamabad: The four provincial members of the Election Commission have expressed unwavering confidence in the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC).

In the statement issued by the spokesperson of the Election Commission, it is said that the four members of the Election Commission have expressed unwavering confidence in the Chief Election Commissioner and the members have assured that all the decisions so far have been made in mutual consultation.

 The spokesperson said that the Election Commission takes all decisions jointly by mutual consultation and keeping in mind the legal requirements.

Moreover, The quota of seats of all the districts was also fixed by the Election Commission by mutual consent and legal requirements.

Added to that the Constituency Committees did the initial constituencies and then after the objections were filed, the Commission decided on them.

The Election Commission spokesperson further added that the objections about Hafizabad district were also decided by the 5 member bench in full harmony.
