Regal Automobiles Industries Limited is all set to unveil Pakistan’s first locally assembled electric crossover SUV, the Seres 3, at a launch event on November 30 at their plant in Lahore.
This marks a significant achievement for the country’s automotive sector, highlighting a step forward in the eco-friendly electric vehicle market.
Earlier this year, Regal Motors received certification from the Engineering Development Board (EDB), granting them approval for the in-house assembly of the Seres 3 EV in Pakistan.
The Seres 3 boasts impressive specifications, featuring a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) that delivers 156 hp (116 kW) and 280 Nm of torque. It is powered by a 54 kWh Lithium-ion battery, offering a range of up to 403 km on a single charge.
The vehicle supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 0 to 80% in just 40 minutes. The Seres 3 can reach a top speed of 160 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.9 seconds.
Inside, the Seres 3 provides a premium experience, featuring a 10.25-inch touchscreen and advanced infotainment options.
The Seres 3, which can seat up to five passengers, is expected to be priced at Rs8,390,000 in Pakistan. It will be available in two variants: one with a 49 kWh battery and another with the 54 kWh battery.
With its impressive features and eco-friendly design, the Seres 3 marks a major milestone in Pakistan’s electric vehicle industry.
