Priyanka Chopra has expressed her sorrow and sadness over the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was murdered on set in an accident with a prop gun.

Alec Baldwin just fired a pretend pistol on a movie set, killing the cinematographer and injuring the director, and Priyanka Chopra has expressed her amazement.

Kangana Ranaut had slammed the incident the day before and emphasized the importance of ensuring set safety.

Sharing a picture of the deceased cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, Priyanka wrote on her Instagram Stories, “I am so shook. I cannot imagine what everyone involved in this tragedy is feeling. There are no words. No one should die on a film set. Period. My heart goes out to Halyna Hutchins family and everyone who knew her.” She ended the note with a broken heart emoji.

According to court filings made public Friday, during a Thursday rehearsal for the Western picture Rust, an assistant director, Dave Halls, snatched a pretend gun off a cart at a desert movie ranch and handed it to Alec Baldwin.
