In response to the trolls criticizing Shah Rukh Khan, filmmaker Rahul Dholakia referred to them as “bigots with foolish notions.” Since the release of the first song from his next movie Pathaan, Shah Rukh has once again become a target of online trolls.
The song, Besharam Rang, is receiving online criticism. A few lawmakers, including BJP minister Narottam Mishra, have demanded a movie ban if the song’s graphics are not changed. The minister claimed that the song contained “objectionable costumes” and showed a “dirty mindset.”

Rahul tweeted Friday morning, “The hate attack (for years now) on @iamsrk should be condemned by one and all in the film industry. SRK has contributed more to our fraternity and India as an ambassador of entertainment & cinema ; than most people have. Please tell these bigots with idiotic theories to Shut Up!”

The Madhya Pradesh Ulema Board has also voiced opposition to the film’s release in the region. President of MP Ulema Board, Syed Anas Ali, said, “The sentiments of the Muslim community have been hurt by this film. We will not allow this film to be released, not just in Madhya Pradesh but across the country.”
“The Pathans are one of the most respectable Muslim communities. Not just the Pathans but the entire Muslim community is being defamed in this film. The name of the film is Pathaan and women are seen performing obscene dances in it. Pathans are being portrayed wrongly in the film,” he added.

The trolls have gotten a response from Shah Rukh Khan as well. He discussed the hostility on social media during his Thursday night speech at the Kolkata International Film Festival 2022 (KIFF). Shah Rukh addressed the “narrowness of view” on social media without mentioning Pathaan and even pushed back against individuals who had a pessimistic outlook.
Shah Rukh Khan has revealed two projects after disappearing from the spotlight for a while following his box office flop Zero. Soon, you may watch him in the action movies Jawaan and Pathaan.
