Federal Bureau of Statistics says inflation rate has been increased by 0.05%

The inflation rate has increased by 0.05 percent in a week in Pakistan.

According to the statistics, the Federal Bureau of Statistics has issued statistics regarding inflation in Pakistan.

The statistics also mentioned that the prices of 19 items have increased in a week whereas prices of 10 items have decreased.

The price of the Liquefied Natural Gas domestic cylinder has been increased by Rs. 1.93.

In a week, the price of edible oil has increased by more than Rs 1.5.

The statistics also mentioned that the price of sugar has increased by Rs 0.4 per Kg.

Federal Bureau of statistics also stated that the prices of milk, meat, rice, edible oil, and lentils have also increased during the last week.

On the other hand, the bureau of statistics also stated that the price of chicken has decreased by Rs 26. Also, the prices of onion and garlic have decreased by Rs 7 whereas the prices of pulse gram and pulse mong have decreased by Rs 2.

Federal Minister Hammad Azhar presents the budget 2020-21

Federal Minister of industries and production Hammad Azhar has presented the budget for the fiscal year 2020-21 in National Assembly.

Government has set total size of budget at Rs7.14tr.

While presenting the budget, he said, “No measures have been taken in the past to curb money laundering” “Our goal is to revive the economy”

Azhar said that 6 billion has been allocated for the Ministry of Climate Change.

He further announced that SBP will allocate Rs 800 billion for individual loans. Hammad Azhar continued, “Has taken all possible steps to improve the growth rate”
