KARACHI: Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves slipped $253 million to $24.875 billion by the week ended July 23, 2021, the central bank reported on Thursday.

The foreign exchange reserves of the country were at $25.128 billion by the week ended July 16, 2021.

The official reserves of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) also fell $221 million to $17.83 billion by the week ended July 23, 2021, compared with $18.051 billion a week ago.

Similarly, the foreign exchange reserves held by commercial banks came down $32 million to $7.045 billion for the week ended July 23, 2021, compared with $7.077 billion a week ago.
