In Lahore, the cost of live broiler chicken has risen by seven rupees, leading to a wholesale rate of Rs. 428 and a retail rate of Rs. 444 per kilogram.

Simultaneously, the price of chicken meat has surged by ten rupees, reaching Rs. 644 per kilogram. Notably, the cost of eggs has experienced a significant drop, decreasing by Rs. 29 to Rs. 387 per dozen.

Comparing to yesterday’s rates, the wholesale price of live chicken was Rs. 421 and the retail price was Rs. 437 per kilogram. Poultry maintained its price at Rs. 634 per kilogram, while eggs were sold at Rs. 416 per dozen.

These fluctuations in poultry prices reflect the ongoing dynamics in the market, impacting the affordability of essential protein sources for consumers in Lahore.
