Gold prices drop by Rs. 4,700 per tola in Pakistan
The gold rate in Pakistan further decreased by Rs200 to Rs282,400 per tola in the local market on Saturday (Jan 18).
The price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs170, reaching Rs242,112, as per the rates provided by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Friday, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs400, closing at Rs282,600.
The international price of gold declined on Saturday. According to APGJSA, the price was $2,703 per ounce (with a premium of $20), marking a drop of $2 during the day.
In addition, silver prices dropped by Rs24, bringing the price per tola to Rs3,381.
