Pakistan’s electric scooter market is expanding, supported by government incentives, but the cost of these scooters remains higher than that of petrol bikes.

Leading brands, including Honda, have entered the Pakistani market. The sector is expected to more than double by 2033, showing a growing shift toward electric vehicles, particularly in major cities like Lahore and Karachi.

Atlas Honda recently launched its first electric scooter, the ICON-e, priced at Rs420,000. Marketed as a premium scooter, it offers advanced features and better performance compared to most Chinese-made electric scooters, though the price difference is significant.

As the prices of electric scooters rise, Bank Alfalah is providing flexible financing options. Customers can purchase these scooters on installments with 0% markup under selected plans, making them more accessible.
