The Sindh government has decided to give free solar systems to people who use up to 100 units of electricity per month. This step is meant to help low-income families deal with high electricity costs and to encourage the use of clean energy.

According to reports, the Department of Energy is accepting applications from eligible consumers until August 20. People who meet the electricity usage limit can apply for this program. If more than 123,000 people apply, the final selection will be made through a lucky draw.

This plan is part of the Sindh government’s wider efforts to promote renewable energy and provide energy support to people who are financially struggling.
