Chairman of Arif Habib Group, Arif Habib, has shared positive news for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees, stating that the airline will be transformed into an international-standard carrier.
Arif Habib made these remarks while appearing on BOL News program Boloon Janab, where he spoke with host Asad Nizami. During the discussion, he addressed concerns about the future of PIA employees and assured them of support.
Responding to a question about employees’ future, Arif Habib said that PIA currently has around 6,000 permanent employees, along with others working on contract. He emphasized that the number of employees would need to be increased and acknowledged that PIA has many capable and hardworking staff members who kept the airline running during difficult times.
He added that competent employees would be fully supported, as they are a key strength of the airline. Arif Habib further stated that PIA has the potential to compete with international airlines by providing quality services and attracting passengers.
He concluded by saying that every effort will be made to offer the best possible services, including modern aircraft, so that PIA becomes the first choice for travelers once again.
