KARACHI: The gold prices in Pakistan surged to a historic peak as the rate of one tola gold rose by Rs10, 700, reaching Rs454, 262.
All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs9, 174, hitting Rs389,456.
In the international market, gold jumped $107, pushing the global price to $4,319 per ounce.
Silver also witnessed a rise, with 10 grams becoming costlier by Rs199, now priced at Rs6,684.
Earlier, Gold prices recorded a decline in both international and local markets today, 09 December 2025.
All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), gold price per tola dropped by Rs1,900, now the new price of gold per tola is Rs441,862.
Gold 24K per tola: Rs 441,862 (↓ 1,900)
Gold 24K per 10 grams: Rs 378,825 (↓ 1,629)
Gold 22K per 10 grams: Rs 347,268 (↓ 1,494)
International, gold rate also declined by $19 to reach $4,195 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
