Popular Tamgha-e-Imtiaz holder, Mehwish Hayat, who has been using her fame internationally to change misconception about Pakistan and promoting peace, also has a melodious voice.

She’s not only known for her impeccable acting but also her dance moves.

The actress showed off her singing prowess this time around.

Taking to Instagram, she posted a video jamming to Roberta Flack’s song ‘Killing Me Softly’ to wish musician Emad Rehman on his birthday.

Mehwish Hayat didn’t disappoint with her melodious voice and singing skills.

She wrote, ““Just being in the studio with the most talented duo Emad Rehman & Afsheen Hayat inspires me. Here, jamming 2 one of my fav songs, “Killin me softly” Was truly magical.”

‘Killing Me Softly’ was originally sung by Fugees, which was released in 1996.

Earlier, Mehwish Hayat delivered a song called ‘Tu Hi Tu’ with singer Shiraz Uppal and has lent her voice to OST’s of some television dramas as well.

Mehwish Hayat is a leading Pakistani film actress who is known for her films like Load Wedding, Punjab Nahi Jaungi and Actor in Law.

She was honoured by the Government of Pakistan with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2019.
