Rihanna’s foundation CLF donates $5 million to fight coronavirus

Rihanna‘s organisation, Clara Lionel Foundation is giving $5 million to the response efforts against the coronavirus outbreak.
According to the details, The Clara Lionel Foundation announced the donation in a statement on Saturday.
The foundation said, “When we first began this year, never could we have imagined how (the coronavirus) would so dramatically alter our lives.”
Over the past five years CLF has been one of the first organizations to respond to some of the world’s most devastating natural disasters, and we’ve seen firsthand the profound and unintended consequences of not being prepared, the statement also said.

Clara Lionel Foundation is a non-profit organization found by Rihanna in 2012. Its mission is to support and fund “groundbreaking and effective education, health and emergency response programs around the world.”
