Money Heist’s Álvaro Morte lands new role in Spanish thriller series

The breakout Spanish actor Álvaro Morte has landed a pivotal part in climate change thriller series, ‘The Head’.

Álvaro Morte, famed Money Heist’s professor, will play as Ramón who is part of a group of scientists in Antarctica in the his new Spanish thriller.

He became an international sensation after playing the iconic character of Professor in Money Heist.

According to the details, David Pastor, Àlex Pastor, and David Troncoso have created and co-written the thriller series.

The six-episode series, follows story of a small expedition known as ‘the Winterers’, who continue their studies in the South Pole throughout its bleak, six-month winter.

The team comprising of ten members carry out innovative tests at the Polaris VI Antarctic Research Station, conducting critical research for the fight against climate change.

However, their mission turned into a chilling mystery when, at the end of the long winter, only two members of the team survive.

The series also stars John Lynch (The Terror), Alexandre Willaume (Tomb Raider), and Katharine O’Donnelly (Mary Queen of Scots).

However, The Head has already premiered on international network, which currently broadcasts across Europe and Latin America.

The series will be soon released on HBO Asia and Hulu Japan, reports said.
