Former national cricket team captain Wasim Akram’s wife Shaniera Akram penned an emotional message to her husband on her social media account mentioning that she has been living apart from her husband for the last 145 days.

Shaniera shared a memorable photo of Wasim Akram and herself to her official Instagram account.

Sharing the photo, Shaniera wrote, “145 days we have been apart! The longest ever. Although my heart is breaking everyday I have strength and believe that this world will end its suffering soon as there are those who have lost way more than us.”

She wrote, “Inshallah we have the love that knows no boundaries.”

“I pray that everyone stays safe, wears a mask and gets vaccinated as soon as possible so that life can continue as normal,” Mrs. Akram wrote, expressing her best wishes.

She also wrote that “I will do my best to be a good mother, citizen and keep my charity and work to help Pakistan as much as I can from here. Missing you @wasimakramliveofficial more than you could imagine.

Addressing Wasim Akram, Shaniera further added in the caption of her post, “You are our everything 🥰🙌🏼”

“My Prayers to those during this Holy month of Ramadan who are suffering, struggling, in longing or sadly saying goodbye to loved ones.”

Shaniera and her daughter Aiyla Akram have been stranded in Australia since the past several months while her husband Wasim Akram is in Pakistan.

The Australian government has closed Australian borders in response to rising cases of the coronavirus.
