Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Babita Ji is all set for her new show

Munmun Dutta’s exit from the famous show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been rumoured for months. She had been absent from the show for the previous two months.

The actress plays Babita ji in the show, and current rumours claim that she has resumed shooting. Onset, she was spotted. According to rumours, she will also appear on the show this week.

However, official confirmation is still pending. To be clear, producer Asit Modi asked her to apologise for her casteist insult in the video.

According to the Times of India, Munmun was spotted on the set. It’s worth noting that the actress had spoken out when rumours of her leaving the show first surfaced. She had claimed that the bogus report had harmed her life.

“People are saying that I did not report on the sets of the show and it is untrue. Currently, the track in the show did not require my presence. Therefore, I was not called for shooting. I don’t decide that. I am just an individual who goes to work, does her job, and comes back,” she added.

Munmun had also said, “If I plan to quit the show, I will announce it.” She was in the news after she mistakenly used the word ‘bhangi’ in a derogatory context.

On her social media video, she was mocked for using discriminatory language. Later, the actress removed that segment from the video and apologised on social media.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been entertaining the viewers for the last 13 years. It is one of the most loved shows on television.
