Zayn Malik posted a promotional video on Instagram on Thursday. Since clarifying his position over his reported altercation with Yolanda Hadid.

The musician, who was previously a member of One Direction, has been absent from social media sites. He also broke up with his partner, Gigi Hadid, according to reports.

Zayn posted a photo of himself as part of an ad post advertising a pair of sunglasses in his first Instagram post since the crisis began. He sat with his arms crossed, sporting sunglasses and a black turtleneck in the snap.

The Pillow Talk singer shared the post with the caption, “DROPHEAD. @arnette #zaynxarnette #ad.” Although he’s refrained from commenting on his reported split with Gigi Hadid, his fans took to the comments section to show the singer their support.

Zayn, Gigi, and Yolanda Hadid caused a stir in October after it was claimed that Zayn ‘struck’ Yolanda at the family’s house outside of Philadelphia.
