Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker sequel faces delay

After the release of Matt Reeves’ The Batman, fans are eager for a sequel announcement of the film. However, Fans are also waiting for Todd Phillips’ 2019 masterpiece Joker. According to reports, the film’s sequel has been in the works at Warner Bros.

Some reports have suggested that the Joker sequel release has been delayed. Although it is not yet clear what the hold-up actually entails, the delay has been tied to the director, who is also writing the script.

Filming of the sequel has been rumored to start in early 2023, but if it lasts for too long it can affect the release of the film.

Phillips’ Joker was largely unlike any other superhero film, and gave way to social and political commentary that was majorly looked down upon by critics.

Interestingly, fans are excited to see how Phillips goes through the developments at the ending of the last film or will it be a totally different story yet again.
