Who is Kacie McDonnell?

Kacie McDonnell, a well-known broadcaster, not only reports on the greatest stories, but she also makes headlines herself.

Kacie’s profession and personal life have piqued the interest of television watchers since she landed her job with Fox News.

Kacie McDonnell was born on July 30, 1990, and spent her early years in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.

In 2012, the future reporter received her bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and began her work path.

Sports and traffic reporting for Fox affiliate WTXF-TV was one of Kacie’s first jobs.

Her next job movements took her from Pennsylvania to Missouri and then to Massachusetts.

She worked as a sports reporter for KHSB-TV and the New England Sports Network during this time.

Kacie joined Fox News in 2019 and has since hosted a number of segments on the network.

She is best known for anchoring the shows Mansion Global, Kacie McDonnell’s Social Distancing, and Monsters Across America.

She told about her famed gig on Fox, “My contract was ending at NESN. I was asked to re-sign.”

“Though I loved every single person I worked with and worked for — I decided to take some time to spend with family and friends.”

Kacie shared, ” I really haven’t had a break since I started working in 2012. I had already been a big fan of Fox Nation, so I was over the moon when I was asked to come in for an interview.”

Kacie married her longtime partner, Eric Hosmer, on December 31, 2021.

Eric is a former MLB player who spent the most of his career with the Kansas City Royals, from 2011 to 2017.

He joined the San Diego Padres as a first baseman in February 2018.

Kacie also disclosed, “Eric has been one of my biggest cheerleaders for almost four years now and vice versa!”

“We find happiness in each other as well as each other’s success.”

She added, “Communication is key in any relationship — but especially so when you’re loving long distance. We’ve pretty much mastered it.”
