Jared Leto confused for ‘mystery man’ on Met Gala 2022

It’s possible that Jared Leto has a lookalike. At Met Gala 2020 for a brief period, viewers mistook the 50-year-old actor for a “fabulous mystery man” dressed entirely in silver.

It was eventually confirmed to be Fredrik Robertsson, who goes by the Instagram handles “CREATIVE DICTATOR” and “FASHION ADDICT.”

In a silver Iris Van Herpen jumpsuit with silver structured wings, Robertsson turned heads.

Twitter, on the other hand, mistook it for an unidentified Leto, shocking fans.

Later, Leto and Alessandro Michele, the Gucci designer, appeared in matching gold suits with red bowties.

The actor from “Fight Club” is known for his crazy Met Gala outfits.

He wore a flawless copy of his own head on the red carpet to promote the “Camp” theme in 2019. For the premiere of his critically panned superhero picture “Morbius,” he channelled his inner vampire bride.

Karamo Brown of “Queer Eye” wasn’t persuaded it was the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman. He said about the fake ID, “If we’re wrong, we’re all going to gag.”

The Met Gala takes place on Monday, May 2nd, and this year’s celebrity co-hosts are Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Regina King, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
